The Vapor Lock Installer lets you choose Free or Premium, then retrieves that edition's signed latest release.

Automatic application updates are opt-in and disabled by default. Notices can be dismissed or permanently ignored. When enabled, updates preserve models, profiles, datasets, training data, training runs, configuration and downloaded runtimes.

Official models can be updated separately from Model Library. Custom models are never overwritten.
